GROUND WATER DEVELOPMENT AND DRINKING PURPOSE
This Project fills 4 tanks named Kalakeri Tank, Lebigiri Tank, Kamanuru Tank, Abbigeri Tank and Hirehalla River completely from Tungabhadra River which improves the ground water table and also provide drinking water facility to nearby villages. Overall there are 8 barrages in Hirehalla which intend to store the water.

this Project benefits Irrigation Facility, Borewell Recharge and Drinking water to the 19 Villages, whose population is around 60,000 and also it provides irrigation facility to surrounding land.
